Adidas Originals and ESPN collaborated on a vintage inspired shoe called the ESPN Top Ten Hi. Together they tapped Iris Worldwide Agency to drive an ad campaign that would throwback to the first days of ESPN, using the original ESPN studio set as inspiration for the shoe design.
Autumn Line was brought on to lead product photography and post-production for an ESPN-style top-ten countdown video showing off the ten best features of the shoe. We pulled in Summer Winter to shoot video and photos of the shoes in-studio and on-location in a vintage home setting. Using those assets we recreated some of the original ESPN opening title sequence, and 70’s style graphics to animate the top-ten countdown.
Jacques Slade, YouTube sneaker unboxing king, was also tapped to shoot an unboxing video using a ridiculously awesome custom shoe box design to look, and function, like an old television set. We collabed with Jacques and his team to send his usual unboxing video into the past with a time-bending blast back to 1979.
