When approached by the band and Sony/RCA Records to create a flagship lyric video to help launch Daughtry’s new album, we worked again alongside Additive Agency and their WRDS brand to create something fun.

Daughtry and Sony wanted something bright and positive that carried the story of overcoming relationship obstacles and fighting through difficulties, playing off the “Battleships” metaphor while staying away from outright war imagery.

Autumn Line crafted this paper-flat yet dimensional world that used bold colors, light and particles, and seamless camera transitions to tell the song’s story.
